Help run the server you play on.
ScaleBound SMP is run by players, for players. We're looking for Helpers, Moderators, and Admins to keep the community welcoming and the server running smoothly. Every applicant is verified through Discord and reviewed privately by staff.
Pick the role that fits.
Helper
The entry point into the staff team. Helpers review player applications, welcome new players, and answer questions in Discord and in-game — flagging rule-breakers to the Moderator team rather than acting on them directly.
Moderator
Full moderation authority, in-game and on Discord — chat warnings and mutes, grief/theft investigations, and dispute resolution. This is not a Discord-only role: Moderators are expected to be active and enforcing rules in the actual Minecraft world, not just managing channels.
Admin
Senior staff. Admins have final say on bans and appeals, configure server rules and plugins, manage the Moderator team, and handle escalations Moderators can't resolve alone. Admins hold elevated server access — this role carries real trust and is evaluated more heavily than the others.
Builder / Event Staff
Designs spawn builds, event arenas, and seasonal projects, and helps run community events. This role is currently paused — join the Discord to be notified when it reopens.

Fill out the form
Short, role-specific questions. Helper's form is quick — Admin's asks more.
Staff review
Sent privately to a staff-only Discord channel. Never posted publicly.
Decision by DM
You'll hear back on Discord either way — accepted, waitlisted, or declined.
Before you apply
Applicants must be 16 or older. This applies to every staff role, with no exceptions.
Helper: 50+ hours. Moderator/Admin: 100+. Last season counts too, tracked automatically.
Reaching Level 10 in our Discord shows you're an established part of the community, not a brand-new account.
Staff are expected to stay active in-game and in Discord. Extended, unexplained absences will result in removal from the team.
You must have no active bans, mutes, or open reports on ScaleBound this season. Past seasons aren't held against you.
Staff are expected to de-escalate conflict, not add to it. We're looking for patience under pressure, not a short temper.
Checking in once is fine. Repeatedly DMing staff for an update on your application will result in an automatic deny.
We're looking for people who want to help the community, not just pick up a rank or perks.
Staff are expected to be comfortable hopping on a voice call when needed, not just text chat.
